Skycity Auckland visit - a look at the floor
Went to Skycity the other day for a proper physical casino trip and it’s definitely a big presence in the city. You can really feel the place has been around forever, like since 1996 when it started operating. It felt pretty solid being there in person on the floor. I always wonder how the crowds are when the All Blacks are playing nearby. Is the atmosphere different from just visiting other casinos in Auckland?

Funny how a building can feel older than it is, eh. I've been in and out of Skycity since the late 90s and yeah, the place wears its years well, the floor's always got that busy hum even on a quiet Tuesday. Cashing out at the cage is still a good feeling no screen can copy, trust me. Ah well, we grind on 😉
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
Skycity has been around since 1996 apparently. Does the floor feel the same now as it did way back then? Thanks for the insight! 🙏

it’s wild how some places just have this solid feeling, right? skycity having been running since 1996 gives the floor a weight and history that you just don't get from something that opened last year. you can feel that established grind while cashing out at the cage, ah well, we grind on.
Busted more than you've deposited 😉
Only been once myself but what got me was how everything's in one spot under the tower, no wandering around lost. Dunno how the floor felt in the 90s but walking in as a newbie it felt proper, not like a pub with pokies in the corner. Cashing out at the cage definitely hits different 😅 chur for the posts, helpful crew here.

First land casino I've ever walked into so maybe I'm being dumb but the whole place felt proper legit, you can tell it's been going since 1996 😅 The cage cashout was easier than I expected too, no dramas at all. Keen to head back up from Blenheim sometime and give the pokies another go 🎰
New here, soaking it up.
