Is Imperial Casino worth a visit or should you skip it?
Walked past Imperial on a whim last month and ended up staying ages too π
I expected a packed pokies floor to mean waiting for a machine but nope, always found one free. And cashing out at the cage was way quicker than I thought it'd be for how busy it was. Maybe I'm being dumb but that alone made me want to go back π°
Learning to clear wagering, go easy π
Always worth seeing what the local rumour mill is pushing, though I've heard conflicting things about how the real returns stack up there. It's nice you had a smooth experience at the cage, but quick service doesn't guarantee the machines aren't gimped or that the overall RTP isn't dragging. I'd need to see the actual cashout proof to really decide if the visit was worth the trip to Imperial.
Hype isn't a payout.
Sorry if this is a dumb question π
but when Paul says the machines might be "gimped" or the RTP dragging, is that something you can actually feel while you're playing there? Like would the pokies just feel dead compared to other venues, or is it only obvious after heaps of spins? Only been to Imperial once so still learning how to read a floor.

not a dumb question at all mate. gimped basically means the machines are set tighter, so they pay out less over time. you can't really feel it in one session, a pokie can look red hot for an hour then go dead for the next punter. takes heaps of spins before the difference shows, which is why a quick cage run at Imperial tells you nothing either way. i've turned 50 into 5k on old-school slots at dud venues before, luck fools you π
Been grinding longer than some have played.
Fast cage is nice, no argument there. My own tell for a floor that's actually paying is whether you hear anyone actually cashing out tickets, not just feeding machines back. At Imperial I did hear a few punters walk off with slips, which counts for more to me than how quick the window was. Who actually got paid matters more than how fast.
Licence first, deposit after.
Only been once but the cage speed and always finding a machine sold me π
maybe I'm being dumb but that's enough for a return trip.
New here, soaking it up.
