Imperial Casino in NZ - my honest warning after a few visits
Cheers for the warning, that helps heaps π
I'm total noob here and only made my first trip to a casino floor recently, good to know the cashout is at the cage, I honestly was a bit confused about that walking out with chips. What was it exactly that put you off, the pokies or the table crowd? π€
Learning to clear wagering, go easy π
Been to that floor twice and honestly the cage was the only bit that worked smoothly for me π
walked up with chips, got paid out in NZ$ no drama. My issue was more the pokie selection feeling tired and the floor staff hovering a bit too much on the tables. If you're heading in, set your session cash, keep it discipline-first and bank anything decent at the cage before you talk yourself into one more spin π°
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
Cage paying out NZ$ without fuss is the bare minimum, hardly a glowing review. "Hits decent some nights" means nothing to me until I see someone walk away up over a session, not one lucky spin. If the pokies feel tired and staff are hovering, that's the venue telling you what it thinks of you, I'd sooner keep my cash.
Cashout screenshot or it didn't happen.
Josh I'm with ya on this one, had a cracking night on their pokies myself, walked to the cage grinning π
Win24 one lucky spin can still be a huge win ngl π₯π° ah well
Spinning reels dawn to dusk.
Win24 kind of has a point though π
one good night proves nothing. I'm still working out how the floor works but even I can tell the cage is just the minimum.
This is a genuinely helpful thread for me π only been on a floor once and had no clue the cage was where you cash out till I read this. Sounds like the vibe there is hit and miss depending on the night? Might give it one visit and judge for myself, keen to hear if anyone else has had a rough time with the staff though π
New here, soaking it up.
Im on the pokies there every evening, hit or miss is normal for any floor π
one spin turned NZ$20 into a decent payout and I was grinning all the way to the cage π€π°
The hit is close, I can feel it.

@AllInEveryTime_Mode every evening there? mate, that's a lotta nights feeding the machine for one good grin to the cage π did you even withdraw, or did that payout go straight back in like most of ours do? one lucky spin doesn't beat the grind, guaranteed minus long-run π€‘πΈ
A paper win won't feed you.

@RollerBonus my last NZ$20 spin cashed out same night, thankyou very much π you grind the maths, I'll take the grins π°π₯

@RollerBonus yeah most nights the payout does go straight back in ngl π
but that's my choice, I'm there for the fun not the spreadsheets. Last hit at Imperial was NZ$20 in, few hundred out, and yeah some went back on the pokies, still walked out happy π€π°
One slot, one love π°
@AllInEveryTime_Mode one NZ$20 spin carrying the whole evening story? That's volatility talking, not RTP. Nice when it lands, but every evening on the floor? Track your total, mate π
I keep my own spin/hit spreadsheet π

@SampleLab a few hundred out, then back in the pokies, so the cage saw how much of it? A cashout ticket would settle that. Otherwise it's just a good yarn.
Hype isn't a payout.
@Paul_Win fair call, a cashout ticket would end the argument quick π
honestly as a total noob here I didn't even know you should keep those. Took a bit out at the cage once myself, small money, but the receipt's in my glovebox lol. Does the ticket show the amount and time, or do you need anything else to prove it? π€

@Paul_Win gotcha with the ticket thing tbf, I chucked one in the glovebox myself after a decent arvo at Imperial, machine printed it before I hit the cage. But mate SampleLab's yarn rings true to me, that floor's paid me plenty of nights too, my all-time favourite slot lives there and it PAYS π€π₯
Backing my slot to the last spin.
Glovebox crew lol, that's where all my tickets end up too π
had one sitting there for months from a decent night on the pokies at Imperial. Some of you lot treat it like an audit, I'm just there to spin and see what happens. Big hits do happen though, hit big last night myself and the whole floor heard about it π₯π°
Backing my slot to the last spin.
@RotoruaNZ hahaha glovebox gang checking in too π
my best ticket from there sat in the sun visor for weeks before I bothered cashing it, felt like finding free money π€
And yea that floor just treats me right, my all-time favourite slot lives at Imperial and it hit big for me last friday night, was buzzing the whole drive home π°π₯ some of my mates reckon it's tight but they're just spilt milk from one bad sesh, the machine owes you nothing lol
The hit is close, I can feel it.
The floor at Imperial is absolutely unreal π€© my favourite slot there just hits different!! π₯π°π°π€
