Finally visited Imperial Casino and had a proper night out
That sounds like a good night π
I've never actually been to a proper casino floor, only the pokies at the local pub, so a place with actual tables is on my list.
The cage thing interests me. If I turn up with a few NZ$ in winnings at midnight, is it just walk up, show your stuff and they pay you out on the spot? No waiting around or signing a pile of forms? Sounds almost too easy compared to everything I read about online withdrawals π€ Might have to make the trip myself one weekend.

FreespinLord, mate, the cage is genuinely the part that separates a real floor from a pub corner. I turned 50 into 5k on the old-school grind one night years back and walking to the cage with that feeling, chips stacked all wrong in my hands... no app on earth gives you that π queues at midnight are the usual pain everywhere, so a quick cash-out there is saying something.
Pub pokies are fine for a lazy arvo but you'll notice the difference the first time a dealer slides your winnings across instead of the machine eating your ticket. Go on a quieter weeknight first, watch a few hands before you sit, and don't be shy about telling them it's your first time at a table, staff are usually decent about it π

@NapierMad that 50 into 5k story is the dream mate π± I mostly spin the pokies every evening but even I reckon nothing beats a proper cage walk. Did mine once with chips stacked all wrong too, dealer laughed at me, worth it π₯π°
One slot, one love π°
Cage queue free at midnight is the real win π worth the trip just for that. FreespinLord, first table visit beats any pub pokies night π₯
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.
NapierMad that cage walk is the dream, my version is donating NZ$ and strolling out like I meant to π€£ FreespinLord, pub pokies won't prepare you for actual chips.
Good as gold when the cage pays quick, that's my favourite part too π
Still haven't done a real floor myself, hoping the vibe's like yours. Is it beginner friendly at the tables?
New here, soaking it up.

@Numbers_Value mate you're asking the exact thing I asked before my first table night π
I only got off the pokies recently and honestly the dealers were way more patient than I expected. Don't be shy about telling them it's your first go, they'll walk you through it.
Only tip I'd give, learn one game before you walk in so you're not freezing at the table. Maybe I'm being dumb but I watched a hand or two on my phone first and it saved me some embarrassment π Anyone else found the dealers decent to newbies?

50 into 5k, and the first thing everyone forgets to ask is whether it ever cleared the cage. Screenshot of the chip stack means nothing, withdrawal proof means everything. Tables are beginner friendly though, xSpinValue is right, tell the dealer it's your first go and they'll carry you through it.
Hype isn't a payout.

That warning about the cage really makes sense. I've been stressing about these things since I made my first deposit and don't want any headache with my wins. Itβs scary thinking you hit a big win and then it doesn't actually count because of some rule I missed. π Do they usually make the withdrawal process straightforward once you meet the betting requirements, or is it always a bit of a struggle?

@Jack_Napier yeah cage proof or it didn't happen, simple as. Last cashout I actually banked I got the receipt first, posted it after. Tall tales cost nothing to tell eh ππΈ
@Jandal15 no need to stress mate, big wins at the tables get paid on the spot and the cage hands you a receipt, that's your proof sorted. The horror stories you hear are usually punters who played up or argued over a hand. Ask your questions before you sit down like Wellington_Mate says and you'll be fine.
Do the EV, then spin.
Paul_Win's got a point about the cage proof tbf, seen a few tall tales round here π but each to their own. Dealer laughing at your chip stack is half the fun SampleLab, mine sorted mine out no worries. First-timers, justβ¦

Cashing out in time is half the battle.
Cage receipt makes sense, took a photo of mine last payout and slept like a baby π
Jandal15 don't stress, just ask the dealer or the cage before you sit down, they tell you straight. My best night there I walked out with NZ$1,400 and straight to the kebab shop across the road, still reckon about that one π€π₯
Spinning reels dawn to dusk.
Jandal15 you're sweet mate, honestly the staff would rather sort you out beforehand than have a drama later. Asked a dumb question myself the first time I hit Imperial, dealer walked me through it no dramas π
And yeah nearmiss gets it, photo of the receipt costs nothing. Sleeps easy after every payout now. Anyone else find the tables buzzing on a Friday or was that just my lucky night π€π°
Backing my slot to the last spin.
