Is Players Palace Casino legit?
First time I hear of Players Palace to be honest, and now I'm curious π
. I only started playing a wee while back and so far it's been the pub pokies down the road, never had the courage to walk into an actual casino floor yet.
Would love to hear from other locals who've been through the doors. Does the floor feel above board, and how did the cage treat you when you went to cash out? Asking because I genuinely have no idea what to expect walking in for the first time. Also, do they do signup bonuses on the spot or is that not a thing at land venues? π

Before I'd walk into any floor I check the blacklist first, and Players Palace isn't ringing any bells I trust. Honestly, if the pub pokies down the road are treating you fine, there's no rush - casino floors are built to make you forget what you've fed them. Anyone here actually got a cage payout from that place? No payout, no proof.
Licence first, deposit after.
SamJandal a floor making you forget what you fed them? that's any venue, even the pub π
I've had decent arvos on casino pokies, cage never gave me drama. keen to hear from OP how Players Palace treated them π₯π°
The hit is close, I can feel it.
To FreespinLord: I've walked plenty of floors and the pub pokies are actually the stingier end of the market, so don't be shy. That said, on Players Palace itself I'd want to hear how the cage handled a cashout before forming any view. One smooth arvo tells you very little on a small spin sample, the variance only shows over repeat visits. OP, did you cash out, and did they ask for ID without fuss? That's my litmus test for whether a floor feels above board.
I keep my own spin/hit spreadsheet π
I'm confused, I thought Players Palace was an online casino, not a place with actual doors? π
OP, which one did you actually walk into?
New here, soaking it up.
This might be a dumb question but what's "the cage"? Is that the cash desk where you swap chips or cash out pokies wins? π
Yeah it's just the cash desk at a casino π
where you swap your pokies ticket or chips back into cash, or get more NZ$ out for the floor. So if the cage handles your cashout quick and no dramas, that's usually a good sign the venue's run properly. Keen to hear OP's story too! π°

Same here, thought it was online until the OP said they walked in π
keen to hear if the cage paid out quick, that'd settle the legit question for me thanks for explaining CashOutLive π
Learning to clear wagering, go easy π
Wait, I walked into one of the six casinos last month and the cage paid me in NZ$ with zero drama, so if OP's went the same that's a good sign π
anyone here cashed out there yet?
Lol half of you arguing about the cage and nobody's even said which Palace OP walked into π
I spin online mostly but keen to hear how the floor felt - one quick cashout doesn't prove a venue's above board, plenty of places pay fast and still feel dodgy. OP, give us the actual story! π°
Backing my slot to the last spin.
Fees like the OP ghosted us mid-thread π
TrampingMad's right, one smooth cage payout means sweet nothing long-term. I judge a floor by how they handle a cold streak, not a win πΈ
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.
Haha cold thread or not I'd still walk in blind π
my gut says a floor that pays the cage quick usually treats punters right, ah well, hoping OP pops back π₯π°

@Auckland_Legend gut's usually right on these ones mate π had a mate pull NZ$600 off a floor like that, cage counted it out no fuss, you know the rest. Word is Players Palace treats the punters decent enough... those who know, know π€«
Ha, OP vanished so quick you'd think the cage swallowed him π
Still, my two cents, a floor under the Gambling Act 2003 rules gets audited pretty tight, so walking in somewhere like that I'd feel more right than wrong. Felt that myself at a few venues; cold streak tells you more about a joint than any payout does, like AlmostHadIt said.
Word is one of the palace-adjacent pokies has been running warm lately, wink wink π€« if you catch my drift... those who know, know. Anyway keen to hear the real story if OP ever crawls back, you know the rest π
Those who know, know.
Lol OP's been gone so long the thread's gone cold π
If the floor felt dodgy you'd have said so by now, so I'm guessing she'll be right? keen for the actual story still ππ°
@RotoruaNZ same lol, been refreshing this thread like a pokie waiting on a scatter π
but honestly if she'd been burned there we'd have heard about it by now, punters don't stay quiet when a floor does them dirty.
been hitting my local most evenings and the difference between a good floor and a dodgy one shows real quick, my all-time favourite machine near the bar has paid me twice this month, small but she pays π€π€ if Players Palace gave OP a smooth cage run I'd say she'll be right, keen for the story too though, dying to know what the win was π₯π°

@BachLoyal haha that scatter simile is too real, I've been the same π
but yeah agree, punters are loud when a floor rips them off and I've heard zero horror stories from Players Palace. Hit it up myself one Saturday arvo, machine paid out sweet and the cage counted it no drama. Honestly if the vibe's good and the pokies are dropping, that's all the proof I need π°π₯

@BachLoyal silence in a thread proves nothing, punters stay quiet for plenty of reasons. Half the "no dramas at the cage" posts here read like ads. Show me one dated cashout screenshot from Players Palace and I'll soften, but no payout, no proof.
Cashout screenshot or it didn't happen.
Anyone else been to Players Palace on a Friday night? Punters everywhere and the pokies weren't stingy to me π
cashed out a couple hundred NZ$, no dramas at the cage π₯π°

@Win24 fair call wanting proof mate, but I know a fella who works a floor up that way and he reckons Players Palace pays out sweet as when you're owed π word is one of their pokies is heating up too... those who know, know π€«
@OtagoNZ mate, "a fella who works the floor" is worth about as much as a hot tip from a barfly π
same crowd were swearing machines "heat up" when I was clearing my last bonus run through the place. Cleared it in profit eventually but that was variance, not insider knowledge. Win24's right, one dated cage receipt beats ten rumours. π°
Cashing out in time is half the battle.

@NearMissHater ha, the "machines heat up" mob crack me up too π
But nah, Players Palace has been sweet for me, cashed a decent hit on my all-time favourite pokie there and the cage paid up no fuss π°π€ Variance or not, I keep going back and it keeps treating me right, so I'll die on that hill π₯π°
Win24 mate I cashed out NZ$400 at Players Palace on one of my favourite pokies last month, no screenshots needed cos the cage just paid and I walked out grinning π Called every mate after too, real rips! π€π₯ Did hit big last night there again nglβ¦ nah, place is legit in my book π°
Backing my slot to the last spin.
Trust me, screenshots are the only currency worth anything in threads like this π
I've run bonus clearances through plenty of cages and I always bank a dated photo of the payout slip before I leave the venue, costs nothing, saves arguments later. RngGod777, chuck one up mate, NZ$400 cashout is an easy receipt to show.
As for the "hot pokie" whispers, nah. I work my bet per spin out to the dollar every session and track it, and no machine on any floor I've played has ever cared about my bankroll's feelings. It hits or it doesn't, that's the whole job ππ°
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.

@RngGod777 that's a decent cashout story but one NZ$400 hit tells us nothing about the cage, mate, I've cleared bonuses through plenty of places and the real test is whether they pay on a win you weren't expecting. I'd still snap a dated payout slip like Lee says, costs nothing. What was the game that hit, or don't want to give it away? π°
Yeah, I guess @NearMiss_Merchant74 is right, one little win is definitely not proof of anything π¬. I'm still kind of nervous though, because I've only done one deposit and I worry about all these bonus things π₯. How do you guys actually handle clearing a bonus at the cage? Is it always that strict? π€ Thanks for explaining! π
Learn something new about casinos every day.
I've only been playing for a bit, so I'm lost on the bonus stuff. Do you guys find the wagering req's at Players Palace really intense? π
π
Asking dumb bonus questions, that's the job.
Don't let the wagging req's panic you, it's just part of the job once you take the bonus, mate. I hunted a decent package once and had to be super disciplined, keeping the bet per spin locked at NZ$25 to make sure I hit the turnover goals without blowing the bankroll too early. Once you've cleared it all properly, the cage process is usually pretty straightforward. πΈπ₯
Bankroll discipline wins πΈ
