Half an hour of footer scrolling sounds about right, honestly, offshore brands bury the regulator name in the tiniest text they can get away with, and half the time it links to a cert that doesn't match the domain. My routine: find the licence entity, check the regulator's own site for the operator's registration, then look up whether anyone has actually been paid out recently. If Imperial Wins shows up there with a live licence, sweet; if nothing comes up or there's no licence number on the casino site to begin with, that's your answer right there.
