Is Imperial Casino worth a visit for its compact, easy-to-read floor?
i rate that actually. nothing worse than trekking round a big floor hunting for a table that isn't dead. Old-school grind taught me to read a room quick. you can scan the whole joint from the door and pick your spot, cage is right there too when the pokies have been paying. 😄
Cage right by the door is underrated too, took a hit off the pokies there and walked out in five minutes. Whole floor visible, no wandering. 🎰

Five minutes at the cage sounds unreal 😅 I always hover nervously waiting. Never been to Imperial yet - does the compact floor ever feel cramped when it's busy? 🤔
Learning to clear wagering, go easy 🙏
Compact floors cut both ways: easy to scan from the door, but when it's busy you're rubbing shoulders with every punter in the room and there's nowhere to hide from a machine that's dead. Haven't hit Imperial yet, so I'll hold judgement until I see the floor myself - and I'll believe the five-minute cage story when I get paid like that.

Answering FreespinLord: cramped when busy, yes — that's the trade-off. Small floor means no dead corners to escape a cold machine. Fine for a short hit and a quick cage payout, less fine if you want room to breathe.
RTP doesn't lie, win screenshots do.
Is a cold machine really that bad if you can just see it's dead from the door and move on straight away? 😅 Maybe I'm being dumb but that sounds like the whole point of the compact layout, no trekking to find out. Haven't been in yet myself though, keen to see if it feels cramped on a Friday. Thanks Nick_Win, that helps 🙏

Yeah nah, OneMoreSpinNation99 has it right, seeing the whole floor from the door is half the magic tbh. Packed Friday? You feel the room straight away 🔥🎰 ah well, keen to test it meself.

Honest question from a total noob 😅 how do you even tell a pokie's dead from the door, Win24? Does the crowd around it give it away or what? 🤔

@Chris_Vegas crowd around it is the big one yeah, plus if someone's been sitting there stone-faced for half an hour spinning dead spins 😅 nobody hovers near a cold machine. Though mate a "dead" pokie can wake up anytime, I hit NZ$380 on one everyone was ignoring last week, so don't write em off too quick 🔰🎰
The hit is close, I can feel it.
@Chris_Vegas crowd's the giveaway, and screen colour. My rule from bonus hunting applies on a floor too: if a machine hasn't paid while I'm watching, I walk. 😅

Chris_Vegas, honestly you can mostly tell from the crowd and whether a machine's been sitting ignored for ages 😅 but no shame in just walking the floor once, it's tiny anyway. For me that's the whole charm, spin a few, if it's cold you clock the next one from halfway across the room 🔀💰 then straight to the cage when it pays. Cramped on a Friday? Probably, but I'd rather buzzing and compact than wandering a big dead floor 🎰🔥

@Chris_Vegas crowd's a decent shout but honestly cold machines warm up sometimes too 😅 I've hit big last night on one everyone was ignoring, sat there dead for an hour then dropped a proper hit ngl. Walk the floor at Imperial, it's tiny anyway, you'll suss it in two minutes 🔥🎰
Backing my slot to the last spin.
@JoshGold this is why I never trust the cold machine crowd theory 😅 they ignored that exact type of machine on my last Imperial session and it dropped me a NZ$380 hit out of nowhere, was buzzing 🔰🎰 Floor's so tiny there you can literally watch it happen in real time anyway 🔥
