Warning about Chch Casino floor experience
Only been to Chch Casino once so far, went last month while visiting mates, and yeah the floor hit me the same way. First time in a real casino and I didn't know where to look, tables and pokies everywhere, blokes hunched over spins like it's a Tuesday job. Found the pokie section pretty tucked away too, took me a full lap to figure out where I was going.
Does throw me a bit that the place has been running since 1994 and the layout still feels that dated. You'd think after 30 years they'd freshen it up? Kept my visit short and just cashed out at the cage, which was easy enough. Is it always that packed on a weekend, or did I just pick a rough night? 😅

Yeah the floor's dated, no way around it after running since 94 it shows its age a bit. I found the tables side less overwhelming than the pokie rows, pick a corner and settle in. Cage cashout was quick when I went, that part I'll defend.
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.
Hah, dated I'll give you, but I reckon the old floor's part of the charm. Remember when the pokie cabinets were actually worth a look, Thunderstruck days. First visit I just stuck to a corner too, works a treat. Cage has never done me wrong either. Ah well, we grind on.
