Bloody good point about that back corner mate. I did exactly the same thing last time I was in there, wandered past that little cluster of tables twice without clocking them. Thought I knew the floor pretty well after a few visits but you genuinely can't see them from the entrance at all, they're just tucked behind the pokies bank near the back. Keeps me wondering if it's deliberate or just a weird old layout. Half the time I ended up there I'd spun a few dead ones first and drifted over without thinking 😅

Same thing happened to me there a few weeks back. Went in with a set plan, straight to my usual pokies, and somehow ended up behind that back bank of machines near the tables I'd never even clocked before. Sat down on a whim and had one of my better sessions there in months 😅 Part of me reckons it's deliberate, hide the good corners and you stumble into them fresh instead of walking past on autopilot. My rule though: if I wander off-plan and find a new spot, I set a hard session limit before I sit. Cashout at the cage either way, win or lose, and walk. Bankroll discipline wins, even when the floor is playing games with your feet 🎰💸

You three are making me feel better about walking past that corner for years, ha. I always figured the floor was laid out so the busy stuff grabs you near the entrance and the quiet tables just survive out the back. Turns out half of us have strolled past them like furniture. Went in one weeknight with a plan for the pokies and somehow drifted round behind that bank of machines, found the little cluster of tables just sitting there dead quiet. Almost felt rude interrupting them. Dropped a few NZ$ more than I meant to that night, so maybe the layout works a bit too well 😄 ah well, we grind on.
Busted more than you've deposited 😉

Chur JandalKiwi, "strolled past them like furniture" killed me 😂 walked past that corner twice, sat down, donated to the casino again. Classic layout trap 🤣

@HarryChur311 "donated to the casino" is exactly what I call it too 😂 but chur, that corner's where I hit big last night on my all-time favourite pokie, so the trap works both ways 🤑 Went in for a quick spin, walked out two hours later way happier than planned 🎰🔥

Only been in there a couple of times so far but that back corner got me too 😅 I went in meaning to stick to the pokies near the front, and somehow ended up at those hidden tables without even deciding to. Pretty sure the layout is doing exactly what it's meant to do. Feels a bit sneaky when you notice it, but honestly I don't mind, found a spot that's way quieter than the main floor. Next trip I'm actually going to walk the whole floor first before putting money anywhere, see what else I've been strolling past like furniture 😂 anyone else found another tucked away bit in there?

Seriously though, who cares about the corner layout when you've got the action right there... That back area is actually where you find the best atmosphere for hammering my favourite pokies, honestly. Always action here and it's where the huge wins come from! 🤑🎰🔥
