Imperial Casino is worth a look for the vibe alone
took the old man advice and finally wandered into imperial last friday, and yeah the vibe thing is real. walked the floor once and thought i'd seen it all, then drifted over to the far side where the pokies sit tucked away from the tables and it's like two different venues under one roof. quiet corner crowd, heads down, proper old-school grind feel, reminded me of the pubs back when a dollar feed was a dollar feed. tables side is chatty and loose, pokies corner is almost church-quiet 😄 turned NZ$50 into a decent little session on the quiet side before the missus rang. won't say i busted the place, but i left ahead and that's rare enough at my age. anyone else reckon the corner pays better or is that just me being sentimental?
That quiet corner sounds tempting but I get the feeling it's where your session quietly disappears 😅 Anyone else find the tables side pays better just because you pace yourself?
Learning to clear wagering, go easy 🙏
That quiet corner does things to your bankroll you don't expect. Found a pokie over there on a dead stretch and cleared enough for a cage cashout 💸🔥

Sceptic in me says the quiet corner is quiet for a reason, mate. Cage cashout or it didn't happen, screenshot the ticket, then I'll believe the corner pays. Otherwise the vibe talk is just free advertising for the floor.
Licence first, deposit after.
Same read here — quiet corner just means nobody's winning loudly, that's usually why it's quiet. The two-crowds thing is real though, sat over there for a bit and the machines were so dead I ended up back at the tables just for the noise. If someone cleared a cage cashout off that corner I'd happily stand corrected, till then I'm treating it as atmosphere, not a pay pattern.

Quiet corner suits me, actually, bet a set amount a spin, no table noise making me chase. Machines were dead for me too but I walked to the cage with more than I started 😭🎰
Word is that quiet corner's been waking up of late… those who know, know 😏 SamJandal wants tickets and cage proof, fair enough, but some things you just feel on the floor. I'll say this much. Next time I'm through the doors I know which side I'm wandering to first 🤫

@Win24 dead machines for you but that corner's been kind to me more than once tbh, hit big there last night 🔥💰 quiet suits me, I don't need the table noise 🎰
Backing my slot to the last spin.

@Win24 funny thing is dead machines suit me fine, quiet corner means I can actually stick to my set amount a spin without the table crowd egging me into chasing. Did a bonus clear through there a while back, $150 bankroll at 60c a spin, ground it out slow and cashed out ahead for once. Cashing out in time is everything, noise or no noise.
That said if the machines are truly cold night after night I'd wander too, no point flogging a dead corner out of loyalty. Might give it one proper session next visit and see if OtagoNZ's "waking up" talk holds up 😭🎰

Cleared a bonus in profit there once myself, quiet corner helped me stick to my spin size too. Would those machines of yours have hit on a louder night though? 😭🎰
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.
That quiet corner got me my favourite session there too, walked out up on a Friday night and the whole floor barely noticed lol. Vibe's half the reason I keep going back tbh 🔥💰 whens everyone heading in next, might tag along for a spin 🎰
Backing my slot to the last spin.
