Is Luckyones Casino legit for NZ players or should I stay away?
Same boat here bro, signed up recently after a mate vouched for them and then went looking for who actually runs the place and came up empty π
My understanding is none of these offshore sites hold a NZ licence yet since the government's still sorting out how limited licences will work. So does anyone know if that licensing list is even out, and what we should be checking before dropping a deposit? Total noob at the vetting side of things.
Learning to clear wagering, go easy π
FreespinLord nailed it, if you can't even find who runs the place, that tells you plenty before you put a cent down. No local licence yet means no regulator to complain to when a cashout stalls. Long-run it's still minus either way, but at least demand withdrawal proof or screenshots from your mate's "vouch" before trusting it.
RTP doesn't lie, win screenshots do.
Tbh I've been spinning on Luckyones every evening for months and my cashouts have landed fine π€π° But yeah Nick_Win has a point, that whole "no one knows who runs it" thing does my head in too when I actually think about it. I just try not to think about it lol π
FreespinLord summed it up right, nobody offshore holds a NZ licence yet so we're all in the same boat on these sites. Just don't chuck in more than you're happy to lose, that's my only rule. Last decent hit paid for my whole week π₯π° still waiting on the government to sort their licensing out so we can stop guessing tbh
The hit is close, I can feel it.
Sorry if this is a dumb question π
but when people say "no regulator to complain to", what actually happens if a cashout stalls? Like is there literally nothing we can do, or do some of these offshore places still answer to someone overseas? π€ Thanks Nick_Win, that bit kind of clicked for me.

Basically it means if you drop NZ$100 in and the cashout never shows up, there's no NZ mob you can ring to force them to pay. With a proper licensed site there's an actual regulator who can step in and make things right. Some offshore casinos do answer to a regulator overseas. FreespinLord found nothing on who runs Luckyones, which is exactly what you'd want to check before depositing, imo π
Me personally? I've had a good run on there and my withdrawals landed fine π€π° but that's luck and vibes, not proof of anything. If the place went dead tomorrow and took my balance with it, who exactly would I complain to? Nobody here even knows who owns it. So yeah, your scepticism is fair, get that sorted first, then spin. Ah well, wish I'd thought about it that hard when I signed up π

@Auckland_Legend fair point but my cashouts there landed fine, hit big last night too π₯°π₯ still waiting on a Kiwi proof screenshot myself tho
Auckland_Legend summed it up about right, and I'd add this from my own spreadsheet habit: even when an offshore place answers to some overseas regulator, that regulator's idea of "swift resolution" can stretch into weeks while your NZ$ sits frozen. Most of the reputable ones do have an ADR body you can lodge a complaint with, so it's worth checking the footer of any site before depositing.
I keep my own spin/hit spreadsheet π
This thread has honestly talked me out of rushing in π
I only put my first NZ$ deposit down at another site a few weeks ago and even that had me sweating until the cashout cleared. Might hold off on Luckyones until I see an actual Kiwi post their payout proof, like Win24 said. So if the new licensing rules come in, do they force these places to get local approval or can they just keep running offshore? π€
My cashouts from Luckyones cleared fine too, no drama at all π
hit a sweet NZ$ win on my favourite slot last night, gonna post proof when I stop spinning π€π₯π°
Spinning reels dawn to dusk.
@CasinoLady88 sweet as, another cashout landing clean π been on Luckyones every evening myself and this slot pays, no messing about. Stop spinning for five mins and post that proof mate, wanna see the damage π€π₯
The hit is close, I can feel it.
Exactly why I want a cashout screenshot from a Kiwi before believing anything. A screenshot of your own money landing in the bank is worth more than any licence claim.
@Win24 mate I get the screenshot thing but honestly you're waiting on proof that's already sitting in this thread π
CasinoLady88 just said her cashouts cleared no drama, that's a punter with money in the bank right there. I've been spinning at Luckyones most evenings and withdrawals have landed fine for me too, no mucking around π€
People love to scream scam before they've even chucked a tenner in... my favourite slot over there has been paying sweet as lately, hit a decent NZ$ win the other night and it cleared quicker than some pubs pay out their pokies ππ°π₯
The hit is close, I can feel it.

@WildWin_Queen same here, cashouts landed sweet for me too π₯ spun my favourite all last night and it PAID π€ post that screenshot, let's shut the doubters up π€π°
One slot, one love π°
Word is the pokies side's heating up over there, got a mate who reckons a certain slot's due π€« don't ask how I know, you know the rest. Cashouts clearing for a few of you lot is a good sign mind. Bro took a hit off my own spins last week too π
Those who know, know.

@QueenOfSpins_Luck "due" π€£ slots don't work like that mate, every spin's its own thing π
but yeah cashouts landing clean for everyone here is what sold me too. Been spinning my all-time favourite over there every arvo after the truck run and it treats me right, NZ$ in NZ$ out no drama π€π₯

@BachLoyal good to hear the cashouts are clearing π I'm new to all this, still learning bonuses, anyone know if Luckyones has decent wagering rules or is it a nightmare to clear? π
New here, soaking it up.

@CashOutLive total noob here too mate, made my first deposit a few weeks back and the wagering terms confused me hard at first π
I've learnt to read the bonus T&Cs before claiming anything now, some are decent, some are a proper grind to clear. Keen to hear if anyone here found Luckyones' rules fair? π

@Chris_Vegas good habit sorting the T&Cs early mate, saves pain later. I check wagering + max bet before depositing, keeps the bankroll honest πΈ
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
@Jandal_Mate yeah nah fair enough, clearing a wager once means nothing though. Everyone here "cleared a bonus" and someone even grins about NZ$600 yet Sam asked for a withdrawal receipt and got silence π€‘ Keep the bet perβ¦
@NearMissHater same tbh, checking max bet first thing saved me more than once on Luckyones π it's my all-time favourite spot, spins on it every evening and cleared a bonus there doing exactly that. Bankroll honesty is the whole game imo π°
Backing my slot to the last spin.
@TrampingMad max bet check first thing is just good habits, same way I won't sit down at a machine without deciding my loss limit before the first spin πΈ Cleared a decent hit off Luckyones floor last month doing $2 a spin and it hit, banked it straight after and walked to the cage instead of giving it back π That "every evening" bit would worry me a bit tho mate - if you're spinning nightly, that's the pattern worth watching, even when it's paying π° Chur15, one more spin is how a NZ$50 sesh becomes a NZ$200 one, been there too many times myself.
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.
@JoshLuck1984 that's the old-school grind right there, banking the hit and walking. Turned 50 into 5k once doing exactly that, then got greedy another time. Cage beats reels π

@NapierMad greed gets us all aye π
I've round-tripped a sweet hit back into the pokies more times than I'll admit. Cage wins, every time π°π°
Spinning reels dawn to dusk.
@CashOutLive wagering there is middling, cleared a bonus on it fine, kept my bet per spin low til it was done. Read the T&Cs first, always π°
Bankroll discipline wins πΈ
@BachLoyal same energy bro π― I was sceptical at first too but honestly this site pays and thats all I care about lol. Had a night on my fav slot where it just kept hitting bonus after bonus, ended up walking off with nearly NZ$600 profit and had a proper grin going till bed π±π° And im on it most evenings anyway, dunno how id sleep otherwise π€
As long as cashouts keep landing quick il stick around tbh. Lee's jokes killing me tho, from "due" to no takeawaysπ

Everyone here "cleared a bonus" and someone even grins about NZ$600 yet Sam asked for a withdrawal receipt and got silence π€‘ Keep the bet per spin low all you like, long-run it's a guaranteed minus. A paper win won't feed you.

@RollerBonus fair point on the receipts, I wouldn't grin about NZ$600 without a screenshot either. But one clean cashout does count for something - I pulled NZ$900 out of there last year, wagered a deposit bonus at 2 a spin, kept it under max bet til it cleared, money hit my account in a few days. Long-run minus? sure, that's any casino, bonus hunting is a job and you take the wins when they land πΈ
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.
NZ$900 cashout and cleared bonuses doing low spins? That's all the proof I need, Luckyones has never done me wrong π₯π° on it every evening...
One slot, one love π°
Lol Chur15 π legit for me too tho, cashouts cleared no drama and this slot PAYS π₯π° every evening on it... one more spin mate, we've all been there π€π°

@JoshLuck1984 that pre-committed loss limit is the single best habit going, and banking the hit immediately rather than round-tripping it back is where most punters fall over. On a small spin sample even $2 a spin can swing hard either way depending on the volatility of the machine, so walking to the cage with the profit intact is exactly the right discipline.

@NeonMaster banking the hit immediately, my eternal weakness π plenty of my bank left in style over that exact move. The cage is right there and I still spin "one more". π€£
