Finally made it to The Clubhouse Casino in NZ
Oh nice, a land-based thread for once π
total noob here but I actually made my first visit to The Clubhouse last weekend too, so this hits home. What got me was how simple the whole thing felt, chuck some cash in a pokie, hit a decent little run on the reels, and when I was done I just walked to the cage and cashed out. No KYC forms, no waiting for an approval email, just a human handing over my money. Bit of a novelty after everything I've read online about withdrawal drama.
Question for you (or anyone who's been a few times now): is the cage cashout always that quick, even on a busy Saturday night? And do the tables players settle up at the cage as well or is it different? Still working out the etiquette of the floor tbh π

First visit and you already walked out ahead? Some blokes grind that floor for years and never learn that trick π word is a couple of those pokies near the bar run hot late, those who know, know π€«
Those who know, know.
Nothing beats walking to the cage with a pocketful of paper instead of waiting days for an online withdrawal eh. My last trip I set a hard stop at NZ$200, went up early on the pokies and walked while I was ahead, that's the whole game, in and out before the floor grinds you back down. Anyone rate the tables there? I stuck to the reels. π°
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
Fair callout from Win24, gossip travels faster than receipts on a casino floor π
my two cents from my own visit: cage was quick as, walked up with paper and got paid no drama, no ID rigmarole like the online sites put you through. Didn't notice any machine running hot near the bar myself, but I did watch a punter bank a decent hit on the pokies and cash it straight out. That's the discipline part most of us skip π°πΈ
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.
Cage receipts beat forum folklore any day, so Josh's experience counts for more than the "runs hot" chatter. I've had the same quick turnaround at the cage myself, walked up, counted the paper, gone. Only caveat: quick when you're up means nothing about how the floor treats you when you're not, so keep that hard stop. Who actually got paid more than once, though?
Licence first, deposit after.

@SamJandal yeah the cage never gives me grief either, counted my NZ$ out quick as last visit and I was back on the pokies inside five minutes π
the "runs hot near the bar" talk is pure vibes but honestly who cares, half the fun of The Clubhouse is the chatter while you spin. Hit big last night on my all-time favourite there, ngl π°π°π€ ah well, back to it tonight
Spinning reels dawn to dusk.
Glad the cage talk got settled with real receipts and not bar-side legends π honestly as someone still figuring out wagering online, walking up and getting paid with no rigmarole sounds like a dream. Keen to make my first trip there soon, do they run any kind of loyalty card or perks for newbies on the floor? π

Never cashed at a cage before, always been online where the wagering drags for days π
walking up and getting NZ$ counted out on the spot sounds unreal. Do you need ID there or not really?
New here, soaking it up.
@Numbers_Value yeah bring ID, they'll ask first cashout, standard. Word is one of the near-bar pokies has been warming up lately too π€« you know the rest

@Numbers_Value yeah bring ID, first cashout always wants it. Cage counted my NZ$ out so fast I barely had time to think "one more spin, promise" π€£π
Cage counting out your NZ$ while the pokies are calling your name, that's the good life π
π€ first time I cashed there I was straight back on the pokies, went huge that session ngl π₯π° ah well
One slot, one love π°

@Numbers_Value yeah ID definitely, they'll want it first cashout so don't leave it in the car π the cage counting out your NZ$ on the spot is a buzz after years of waiting days online, that part never gets old. Just watch yourself after. Cash in hand and the pokies still ringing is how a good arvo turns into a busted bankroll π keep a bit aside for the drive home.
Bankroll discipline wins πΈ
Chur15 that cage line made me chuckle, been there more times than I'd admit π the cash-in-hand buzz never really fades even after all these years. I turned 50 into 5k once on the old-school reels back in the day and still went straight back in same night, so RotoruaNZ you're in good company. The floor's always got the last laugh eventually, that's the deal with this hobby π

@NapierMad 50 into 5k and straight back in, that's the spirit ππ€ I'm the same, cash in hand means one more spin every time, my truckie mates reckon I've got no self control ngl. Old-school reels still slap too, this slot pays when it's in the mood... π°π°
Spinning reels dawn to dusk.
@BachLoyal no self control is just knowing a good machine when you see one mate ππ€ your truckie mates obviously haven't had a proper session on the reels.
Still remember my lucky arvo a while back, walked in with about NZ$60 and walked out at closing with the pocket humming, paid for the whole week's groceries twice over π₯ haven't trusted a machine like that since. Cash in hand every time for me too, way harder to walk away when the cage has seen your face already lol. You been to The Clubhouse yet? Keen to hear if the floor's got old-school reels still going π°π°
The hit is close, I can feel it.

@NapierMad 50 into 5k is HUGE ngl π±π° that's the dream right there. I'm on my favourite reels every evening and that cage payout buzz hits the same for me every visit, no shame in going straight back in, the machine pays when it's in the mood ππ°π₯

@BachLoyal hahaha "no self control" is just dedication mate π I'm exactly the same, cash in hand and I'm already back on the pokies with it. Hit big last night on my favourite reels actually, would've straight up gone again if I hadn't run out of evening lol π°π°

Funny how the "no self control" crew are the ones still up at the end of the night π I run my floor sessions like clearing a bonus, set the bet per spin before I sit down and cashout whatever the machine gives me. Did that at my local club last week, walked out with the cage payout instead of handing it back. Self control looks boring till it pays πΈ

@Casino_24 dedication is right mate π cash in hand means the reels are calling. What machine hit big for you? Mine's been paying sweet all week π₯π°

@OldSchoolSinceVegas good week on the floor is worth more than any deposit bonus mate. Had a mate hit a decent line on one of the Lightning Link cabinets there last month, banked it same night at the cage. Which cabinet's been treating you, the old 88 Fortunes or something newer? π₯π°
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.
The Clubhouse is absolute perfection, I live for this feeling! I'm on it every evening, hunting for that huge win π₯π°π€

Cashing at the cage same night is the only way to do it π₯ I'm a Lightning Link sucker meself, that cabinet absolutely pays π€π°
Backing my slot to the last spin.
