Went looking for Shuffle's licence details and realised something odd
Odd thing to hit when you go digging, isn't it, you look for a licence number and the page just talks around it. I run a spreadsheet on every slot I touch and I want to know who's actually accountable when a session goes dead, so that stuff matters to me.
From what I can tell Shuffle is purely offshore serving NZ players, no venue to walk into, and while the government sorts out its licensing regime for a limited number of operators there's nothing local to point at. On a small spin sample the maths of RTP doesn't change either way, but the recourse if something goes sideways does. Does anyone here know which regulator they'd actually fall under? I've got nothing concrete and I'd rather ask than guess.
I keep my own spin/hit spreadsheet 📊
That page dodging around licence stuff spooked me too 😬 I only made my first deposit there recently and now I'm wondering who I'd even complain to if a cashout went weird, since there's no venue or local regulator to front up to. Still learning bonuses at this stage and I don't want to grind wagering on a site that answers to nobody. Did you find anything at all naming a regulator before you gave up on the page? 🤔🙏
New here, soaking it up.
You put your own NZ$ into a site with no local licence and no one to front up to. That's the whole risk in one sentence, Numbers_Value. I'd want a cashout screenshot from anyone claiming Shuffle pays before I touched it, and even then, proof from last week means nothing if they decide to stall you next month.
The government's working on licensing a limited number of operators here, so my rule is simple: until a site sits under that regime, treat every withdrawal as a favour they're doing you, not an obligation. NeonMaster, your spreadsheet won't help when there's no regulator to write to. Happy to be wrong, show me the withdrawal proof.
RTP doesn't lie, win screenshots do.
Dumb question maybe 😅 but what counts as proof a cashout paid — like, is a screenshot of the balance enough or do you need the bank side showing the NZ$ landed?
Learning to clear wagering, go easy 🙏
Screenshot of the balance only shows the money's sitting in your Shuffle account, doesn't prove a thing til it actually lands in your bank 🏦 proper proof is the bank side showing the NZ$ came in, like when I cashed out after hitting big last night, the withdrawal pending then paid and the deposit showing from them on my statement was the real receipt. Balance screenshot could just be the site saying whatever it likes, hard out. 🔥💰
Backing my slot to the last spin.
Balance screenshot tells you nothing about variance in your favour, FreespinLord, I track RTP and volatility on every session I play and even I wouldn't treat an in-site balance as evidence of anything. The bank side is the only metric that matters, same way a hit rate means more than a theoretical return until the money actually settles. JoshGold has it right: pending status is a promise, a landed NZ$ credit in your statement is a fact. Until the government sorts out which offshore operators get licensed here, you're effectively asking a stranger to hold your wedge, so bank-side proof every time, and I'd want to see the transaction date next to it too.
I keep my own spin/hit spreadsheet 📊
FreespinLord asked a fair question and Josh pretty much answered it: bank side or it didn't happen. I'd add one thing, even a proper bank record only proves that punter got paid once. It tells you nothing about whether Shuffle will pay you, next month, when you've actually got something worth stalling over.
And WinLive tracking RTP session by session is fine, but on an offshore site with no local regulator to answer to, what's your recourse if the numbers look munted? Complain to who, exactly? Until the licensing regime here actually lands and Shuffle either gets a licence or doesn't, every cashout story in this thread is marketing as far as I'm concerned. Who actually got paid, with timestamps and a statement line. That's the only currency worth anything.
Licence first, deposit after.
Cashed out from Shuffle once and the bank record was the only thing that settled my own head tbh, balance pic means sweet nothing 😅 one bloke getting paid tells you nothing either way though, you'd need a heap of punters all showing NZ$ landing to call it a pattern… but even then I'd still spin there, this slot pays 🔥🎰
Spinning reels dawn to dusk.
Honestly idc about the paperwork drama, Shuffle pays me and my slots hit 😤 hit big last night ngl 🎰🔥 but yeah nah, bank record > screenshot, that part's fair 👀
WildWin_Queen, payouts plus paperwork is the whole game though. I cleared a bonus in profit somewhere last year and never saw the cash until the withdrawal actually hit. Fun while it lasts but if the licence is murky, that "hit big" can vanish real quick. 🔥😭 I keep the bankroll separate for exactly that reason.
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
NearMissHater mate I get what you're saying but my hits don't vanish lol 😅 cashed out last week, hit my bank fine, spins still going 🔥 if the licence is a bit odd ah well, I'm in it for the pokies not the paperwork 💰🎰
Spinning reels dawn to dusk.
VegasDivaFortuna same energy 😅 spins after work, cashed out fine, no dramas yet. If the paperwork turns dodgy I'll worry then, not before 🔰🎰💰
One slot, one love 🎰

@Bach_15 exact same mindset mate 😅 spins after work with a couple of coldies, cashed out my NZ$ no dramas, why would I stress about paperwork lol. far as I'm concerned if the pokies keep paying, Shuffle's my home 🤑🔥 anyone else smashed that fave slot of mine this week?
Backing my slot to the last spin.
NearMissHater mate I hear you but c'mon 😅 same as VegasDivaFortuna here, cashed out a few hundred NZ$ last week, hit my bank next day, spins still firing 🔥 my all-time favourite slot's on Shuffle and it's been kind to me lately, huge win ngl 🤑🤑
Maybe the licence paperwork is a bit odd, dunno, but until the money stops landing in my account I'm not gonna stress about it 🎰💰
One slot, one love 🎰
@SampleLab next day cashout is exactly what sold me too 😅 licence paperwork makes my eyes glaze over honestly, my all-time favourite slot lives on Shuffle and it's been giving back all week 🤑 had a session where it just wouldn't stop, still smiling about it. Ah well, long may it run 🔥💰

@SampleLab that's the vibe, payouts next day is all I care about too 😅 licence stuff puts me to sleep honestly, my favourite slot on there's been paying and that's what counts. Hit big last night ngl 🤑🔥 if the cash keeps landing in my bank I'm not asking more questions...
The hit is close, I can feel it.

@Bach_15 lol same, worry when it's actually a problem 😅 mate I've had the opposite run lately though. My fave slot's gone ice cold this week, dropped like NZ$80 across a few arvo sessions and got nowt back. ah well, that's pokies I guess, last month it spat out a hit that had me grinning for days 🤑🎰
Honestly I just want the cash to land when I ask for it, everything else is noise to me. But yeah if that licence thing turns out proper dodgy I'll happily eat my words 🔰💰

@RotoruaNZ NZ$80 across a few arvos, that's just the machine having a laugh mate. Word is one of the Shuffle favourites has been running hot for some in the know lately, could be worth a look when yours warms back up 😏🤫 mine went quiet for a fortnight then spat it all back in one session at the club, funny how that goes. Keep the balance small like the others say and let it do its thing.
Cold pokies run happens to everyone mate, RotoruaNZ. I treat the licence bit as simple maths: an unlicensed site is a cashout you might never see, so I keep balances small there 😭💸
Bankroll discipline wins 💸

@Queenstown15 sound logic. Only thing I'd add, someone here post an actual withdrawal proof from Shuffle and half this thread melts. Until then I keep it small too.
Hype isn't a payout.
@crap, half my evening balance lives on Shuffle 🙈 cashed out NZ$150 last week no drama, so proof exists if anyone wants it. Licence talk bores me but Queenstown15's maths is sweet as tbh 🔥🎰
The hit is close, I can feel it.
cashed NZ$90 off Shuffle meself last night, no dramas 😤 licence chat is over my head, this slot pays and I'm happy lol 🔰🎰🤑
The hit is close, I can feel it.
@InRTPweTrust_Nation same energy 😄 hit NZ$90 is sweet as, licence chat bores me too tbh. Slot's been good to me on it every evening 🔥🎰
