Has anyone actually been to Vegasstars Casino in person?
Wait, thought Vegasstars was just an online site, didn't even know there was somewhere you can walk in? π€ Total noob here so genuinely asking, does anyone know if they've got an actual floor anywhere we could check out on a trip, cos it'd be handy before locking in plans. Thanks π
Learning to clear wagering, go easy π
Never heard of a Vegasstars floor anywhere in NZ, and we've only got six land casinos under the Gambling Act, so I'd want the actual address before booking anything. FreespinLord's right to ask, honestly, half these names are online-only brands, and "it's got a venue" without a location is casino advertising as far as I'm concerned. If you find one, get back with a photo of the cage paying out, then I'll believe it.
Cashout screenshot or it didn't happen.
Same, I assumed Vegasstars was online only π
keen to know if there's a real floor cos I'd happily plan a trip around it. Anyone got an actual address? π
Same experience here, I've never stumbled across a Vegasstars signage on any floor in this country, and Win24 is right that we only have six casinos under the Act, so an address would settle it fast. If it turns out to be online-only, I'd be wary of planning a trip around the name alone. Keen to hear from the OP where they saw it advertised, because that detail might explain the confusion. π
I keep my own spin/hit spreadsheet π
Same boat as WinLive here, I've done the floors at all six venues at some point chasing RTP notes for my spreadsheet, and Vegasstars has never appeared on a single one of them. On a small sample of casino visits that means little, but combined with the fact we only have six licensed casinos, I'd want hard proof of a physical address before booking anything. If it turns out online-only, no trip to plan around, simple as that.

Go easy on me for this one π
everyone keeps saying "six casinos under the Act". Does that mean those six are the only legal places with pokies in the whole country, and anything else called a casino would be dodgy? Because that would kinda answer the whole Vegasstars question on its own π€
New here, soaking it up.
Yeah bro, pretty much what it means. Pokies in pubs/clubs plus the six casinos, anything else slapping "casino" on the name ain't walking through a door here. Vegasstars sounds online-only to me, never seen a floor with it either, so I'd save the trip money for spins at a real venue π
π°
One slot, one love π°
I'd say trust the name check more than your feet: offshore sites love borrowing Vegas-flavoured branding precisely because it sounds like somewhere you could walk into. If you want an actual floor for the trip, pick one of the six and judge the venue on cashout at the cage, not on a logo on a website. Got a screenshot of anyone being paid by Vegasstars? That'd settle more than an address would.
RTP doesn't lie, win screenshots do.
Yeah Bach_15 nailed it, no Vegasstars floor to walk into mate, save your petrol π
Only time I've ever hit big on a night out was at one of the six proper venues. Decked a bonus that paid for the whole trip ngl π€π€ Would've been sweet if Vegasstars had doors somewhere, ah well, more for the actual floors then π₯π°
Spinning reels dawn to dusk.
Funny how the branding works on you. I nearly searched for flights before realising I'd played Vegasstars online ages ago. Never saw a floor with that name anywhere here. No payout, no proof, as always.
Licence first, deposit after.
Yeah Bach_15 said it, I've never stumbled on a Vegasstars door either and I've been in plenty of pubs chasing pokies after a long haul run π
My all-time favourites have all been on actual floors anyway, something about the sound when it pays... online's fine but the trip's better spent at one of the six real venues imo π₯π°
Spinning reels dawn to dusk.
Ah man, same thing happened to me π
saw the name and started planning a roadie before reading this thread. Never seen a Vegasstars door in any of the six casinos here either, and I only got into pokies recently. Cheaper than a trip I suppose, but my wallet agrees with Chur15 π thanks for saving us newbies the drive!

Glad I read this before wasting petrol on a roadie π
I only deposited with them online last month and even then I assumed the name meant there was a strip somewhere. Guess my NZ$ are staying online for the wagering then. Does anyone actually know if they're planning a floor here, or is that just branding?
Glad I read this before wasting petrol on a roadie π

@Chris_Vegas online-only is the way with them anyway, no floor to chase. Last bonus I cleared there took forever at minimum bet per spin, but banked a 500x on the last feature and cashed out same day πΈπ₯ They don't licence offshore sites locally yet so keep the wagering tight and only put in what you can write off.
Cashing out in time is half the battle.

@Chris_Vegas no roadie needed aye, there's literally no door to walk through π I was gutted when I realised too, my all-time favourite slot lives there and I'm on it every evening - would've smashed that NZ$ into the floor if one existed. Online only for now, hope they get licensed so we can actually see a floor someday π€π₯π°
Spinning reels dawn to dusk.
@CasinoLady88 same here aye, was proper gutted when I found out there's no actual door π my favourite slot pays like a dream and I'm on it every evening anyway, chipped away last night and banked NZ$240 before tea π°π° honestly who needs a floor when the wins land this good...
The hit is close, I can feel it.
@AllInEveryTime_Mode withdraw that NZ$240 tonight, mate, RollerBonus has a point. I got stung like that once, banked a hit, left it in, gone next session ππΈ
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.
@AllInEveryTime_Mode nah don't let RollerBonus get in your head aye, NZ$240 before tea is a cracking session no matter how you slice it π€π° I've had nights on my favourite where it just keeps giving and you ride the wave till it stops. Those evenings are why we're all here.
That said JoshLuck1984 has been burned the same way I have, so maybe skim a bit off the top and keep the rest for another run. No door to walk through kinda stings but honestly the wins landing good is all I care about π
Backing my slot to the last spin.

@Chris_Vegas honestly the online sessions are where it's at anyway π hit big last night on my all-time favourite there and cashed out same arvo, no floor needed π₯ saving the roadie for Queenstown one day, the pubs pokies vibe is something else π°πΈ

@NearMissHater a 500x on the last feature is huge ngl π±π₯ clearing bonuses at min bet sounds painfully slow though, I'd lose my mind spinning NZ$0.20 a go π

@SampleLab slow is fine by me mate, some of my best hits came off patient little spins at the club pokies π word is that game's cycle has been warming up lately, those who know, know π€« and if you've got a code sitting in your inbox, check it before the week's out... you know the rest

@QueenOfSpins_Luck wait, "cycle has been warming up"? Is that a real thing or just pub talk? π

@CashOutLive nah it's pub talk dressed up as maths, mostly. I've had a pokie go ice cold for an hour then spit a decent hit the spin I nearly cashed out - feels like a "cycle" but it's just variance doing its thing. Only real strategy is picking your bet size per spin and walking when the session's done, everything else is lucky-chair logic with a fancy name π
Bankroll discipline wins πΈ

@AllInEveryTime_Mode banked NZ$240, cute. Did you even withdraw it or is it sitting there tempting you for another "evening session"? π Every punter's favourite slot pays like a dream right up until it doesn't, guaranteed minus long-run, mate. π€‘πΈ
A paper win won't feed you.
Withdraw it aye, that's me two cents. But nah don't let the doomers wind you up, NZ$240 before tea is a mint session π€π°
To be fair, "Vegasstars Casino" sounds like one of those names dreamed up by someone who's never actually been to Vegas π Anyone claiming they walked into a physical venue with that name, I'd love to see the receipt.
Half these brands are just a logo and a cashier cage that lives in someone's imagination. A win on paper, right π€‘ If it's real pokies you're after, the local clubs do the job, house always wins there too, mind, but at least the pub's a pub π
The house always wins.
@SlotQueenWins never been myself but the online version pays, hit big last night on my all-time favourite there π±π° who cares what Vegas thinks tbh...
Backing my slot to the last spin.

@JoshGold mate you can't just drop "hit big last night" and not say how much π what game was it? I'm on my favourite every evening and it's been stingy all week, feels like it owes me one. Vegas sounds like a dream trip but nah, happy spinning from the couch tbh π₯π°
@TomSweetAs same here, mine's been tight all week and I keep thinking it "owes" me too π maybe I'm being dumb but JoshGold yeah spill the amount please! Also curious what Vegasstars even looks like in person, never been overseas π°
Learn something new about casinos every day.
@OneMoreSpinNation99 mate, we've all been there, I spent years thinking a machine "owed" me before it finally clicked that the thing has no memory at all. Old-school grind taught me that the hard way. Turned 50 into 5k once on one of the old high-paying slots back in the day, then handed a chunk of it straight back the following week because I was convinced I was "on a roll". The machine wasn't owing me anything either time π
As for Vegasstars in person - nah, never made it over myself, my overseas trips tend to involve a fishing rod more than a casino floor. Would be keen to hear from anyone who's actually walked in there though, just for the curiosity of it. Though I'll say this much: after decades of pub pokies here in NZ, half the appeal of a big overseas casino is just the theatre of it all π

@OneMoreSpinNation99 nah not dumb, we've all chased a "debt" that only exists in our heads. Had a fortnight in Christchurch once where I swore the pokies at my local owed me back a NZ$300 hole, kept feeding it until I snapped out of it and walked. Machine's got no memory, Paul_Win is right on that. Screenshot or it didn't happen though, agreed on that too ππΈ

I've only played online so far. Is the actual casino floor really that big? I'm a bit nervous about the whole overseas thing π¬π€
Asking dumb bonus questions, that's the job.

@CashOutLive nah lucky-chair logic sums it up perfectly π every punter at my local reckons the machine next to them is "about to pay" and then wonders why their NZ$20 vanished. the pokies don't remember anything, they just spin... though when mine does hit it HITS π₯π°π€

@Wellington_Mate nah that's pub psychology alright, the machines don't owe anyone a thing π I just set my bet per spin before I sit down, usually NZ$2 a spin, and walk when the bankroll says walk. Had one night at a local club where I was down to my last NZ$20, kept to the 2 a spin, and the bonus landed on nearly the last spin of it, cleared with a decent cashout. Pure variance, but I'll take it π°π₯
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.

@OneMoreSpinNation99 you're right that you're being dumb, no offence β a machine that's been tight all week owes you precisely nothing. And before JoshGold's "hit big" gets anyone excited, screenshots of the withdrawal or it didn't happen. As for Vegasstars in person, no idea, but check the licence and the blacklist before anyone books flights.
Hype isn't a payout.
